First blog post

Hey, thanks for checking out my blog. I’m not really sure how to do this but I’m gonna give it a try. Hopefully this blog will be a place where you can find information about the “Breaking Bread with Angelo’s” podcast that is coming soon.

As I stated I have literally no idea how to do any of this blog or podcasting stuff so I hope you’ll be patient as this whole endeavor evolves. This whole idea started as a kind of joke between me and a guy that works with me at the shop on the weekends Johnny. He turned me on to some funny podcasts and I started listening to some and really enjoyed it so kidding around I said we should do one of our own talking to people in the food industry. Then the more we laughed about what questions we would ask people we were cracking up laughing. Next I started texting and calling some friends I’ve made over the years being in the bread business and every single one of them excitedly said yes. They were genuinely pumped about what a great idea it was so we figured why the hell not.

That has lead to where we are today. I just registered this site BreakingBreadWithAngelos.com and here we go…Lol. Some guests we already have confirmed are Tommy and Joey Nicolosi of Dinic’s in the Reading Terminal Market, Lou Sarcone from Sarcone’s Bakery, Tony Luke Jr from Tony Luke’s, Drew DiTomo Sous Chef of AMIS a Marc Vetri/ Brad Spence restaurant in Center City, Vinny from Florida Style Pizza, Tony Stavola of Stavola Foods, Ari Miller of 1732 Meats, Jason Ledee Executive Chef at Pearl’s Oyster Bar, Mike Pasquarello of Cafe Lift, Bufad Pizza, Kensingon Quarters and other Restaurants under his 13th Street Kitchens Group and a whole lot more to come! ┬áPlus I also got Justin Moya of Le Reve Salon and Barber Shop because even though he isn’t in the food business he’s super talented and at the top of his craft and I like people like that so it should be a cool show.

The Idea is to sit with each guest and basically bullshit about any and everything that comes up so hopefully we’ll do a good enough job to make an entertaining, interesting, informative and laugh your ass off podcast!

Thanks again to everyone who is supporting this and I guess you’ll hear from us soon…
